This Baltimore row house was one of my favorite design projects of 2017. The challenge was to bring more light into the living room without cutting into the ceiling. This home was built in 1938 and cutting into the plaster ceilings and concrete walls was discouraging to the client. Since yellow is often represented as the color of sunshine and flowers, we decided to use it throughout the space to create a feeling of brightness and joy while giving the natural light plenty of yellow to playfully bounced off of!
